Parental Stress

Anyone parenting a child does not need a detailed data set to know that raising a human being is a very demanding endeavor. But research does prove their experience out. In the early years of their children’s lives, parents suffer from higher rates of depression and stress and unhappiness and conflict in their relationship. For families supporting a child with special needs, those numbers climb higher.

Parents deserve support for the stressors and experiences—from sleep deprivation and breastfeeding problems to having a child with special needs—that can make taking care of yourself and your family so difficult. We believe that by fully supporting the mental health of a mother, we can improve quality of life for her and her whole family.
