Clinical Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Sten Pärson brings more than 25 years of executive experience in marketing, strategy, and sales to her position as the Clinical Chief Executive Officer at Seleni. Ms. Sten Pärson is leading the clinical implementation of Seleni's mission to provide first-class reproductive and maternal mental health care. She is driving all aspects of clinic operations, including growth strategy and execution, marketing, program development, and budgeting.
Ms. Sten Pärson's professional background includes roles as founder, CEO, board director, and chief marketing officer (CMO). Most recently, she served as CMO of the consumer division at Com Hem AB, Scandinavia's largest cable operator. Before her work at Com Hem AB, she was chief commercial officer at Coop Hypermarket, one of Sweden's largest grocery retail companies. She also worked as a strategy consultant with Lowe and Partners, serving a variety of clients in Europe.
Ms. Sten Pärson is serving as a nonexecutive on the board of directors of Haldex AB and is a member of the advisory board of Press4Kids Inc, an educational start-up which publishes News-O-Matic, a digital daily newspaper for kids. She previously held a number of board positions at corporations including national vehicle testing agency Bilprovningen, ad agency Dallas-Stockholm, and media agency Inserator.
Ms. Sten Pärson is involved in The Childhood Foundation, a nonprofit focused on preventing sexual abuse of children and the Donaldson Adoption Institute. She has also served on the board of directors of Vi-Skogen, a nonprofit organization supporting agro forestry projects in Eastern Africa.
Ms. Sten Pärson received a degree in strategic marketing from the Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm, Sweden. She also studied business administration at the University of Lund. She currently resides in New York City with her family and is the proud mother of two daughters adopted from China.
